Our topic for your research this term is four legged animals and sculptures of South Africa.

Look at this toy sculpture.

What animal would you like to make?

Bring in a picture of the animal you would like to make and make some drawings of it from all sides.

Concentrate on their patterns, textures and temperament.

Things you can collect and bring in from home:

Kitchen towel and Toilet roll tubes, string, little yogurt pots or cylindrical cartons.

Buttons and beads and anything else that you think will help to make your sculpture come alive.
