Art, Identity and Migration - Schools Project Jan - April 2013 Project Title: 10 Days in Collaboration with photographer Liane Harris, the Ben Uri Gallery and the Saatchi Gallery.

10 Days Project Brief: Students have documented their community/homes/families taking 1 photo a day for 10 days. They used their mobile phones and digital cameras to take pictures at Paddington Arts and Saatchi Gallery with Liane's guidance, then out and about and over to them. We have uploaded them onto shutterfly gallery.

The photos will be printed off and displayed in an exhibition at Ben Uri Gallery Boundary Road St. Johns Wood London. Opening March 20th 2013.

Exhibition Aims: For students to document what community/home/family means to them. Reference to contemporary photography examples such as Martin Parr and Henry Reichold and from the BU collection, Dorothy Bohm, Natan Duir, Yaki Assayag, to inspire the work. Pupils explored their own family heritage and communities during the process.
